Puppy Fair

One of my favorite memories is the puppy fair at Dunning Motor Sales in Cambridge Ohio. Lola and I attend every year. The events include a obstacle course, adopting center, fashion show, talent show, treat bar. Lola loves making new friends. A lady had 6 of the same small white puppies on leashes, of course Lola must get her leash tangled up with theirs and it takes about 10 minutes to get untangled. A little girl comes up and asks if she can take Lola on the obstacle course. Everything goes well until Lola falls off the side and when the girl doesn't let go of Lola's leash she almost fell victim to a puppy hanging. Next is a trip to the treat bar where Lola chooses a mix of peanut butter and liver treats (not a good combination). Finally its the annual fashion show, we came in second. We lost to a dog in a TUTU !!! Our out fit was much more thoughtful, I wore my greek letters F.A.D. and she wore a t-shirt I made with the greek letters Delta Omega Gamma sisterhood of D.O.G. Its all worth it when I see Lola snuggled in the passenger seat, munching on her peanut butter and liver snacks. This year her outfit will defiantly win, no matter what.
