Annual Fish-Off 2012

Growing up in Quaker City, Ohio there is nature all around. Walking threw the woods to pick up interesting rocks and twigs becomes a game. Living in the country, in a small town with no spot lights, you often must find ways to entertain yourself. My family chose fishing. When I went off to college one of the simple events that I still enjoy is driving home, loading up the truck with tackle boxes, rods, bait, and heading to the lake. Not that my family is any different than any other semi-competitive family. So we started a tradition of the Annual Fish-off. Hear are the rules. One; no matter the size of the fish, it only counts as one. Two; fish can only be counted when the family is fishing together. Three; at the end of the season the loser buys dinner for the winner at the winners restaurant choice. It may be silly but there is no where I would rather be than sitting in lawn chairs, fishing with mom and dad.
